Hook me Up
Public Group active 1 month agoNetworking is the be all to end all for women doing business. This is a group for us to network, get networked with other members AND to ask for resources that other members may have to help another. From a personal perspective, I ask that everyone give what you have to help another. If you have a contact that will help a fellow CremeMagnolia member, please give freely and will no expectation of return. That’s what Paying it forward is all about!

You’ve connected with a new friend here in our Community, they have accepted, now what? The very first thing every member should do is read everything about your new friend – go to their profile, read about their business, visit their website to find out about their business, read their blogs – subscribe to their [...]

One of the best things a small business owner can do is “ask for help.” If you don’t know what you don’t know, that is a tough thing to do. A good example is finding a person in a venue such as CremeMagnolia and say for example, “I’ve looked at your website, read your blogs, [...]

Good Morning CM!! If you haven’t noticed, we’ve added “vote” buttons to our featured articles. Please take a moment if you haven’t already read the features and vote as this is a small way we can thank the authors who contribute to our community AND it gives the editors information as to the content we [...]

As business owners, we are all looking for new, easier and less expensive ways to generate business. Cross Promoting or Finding a Strategic Partner is always a good way to grow your company. Right now our community is not quite as intuitive as we’d like it to be – but that is changing every day. [...]

I have two blogs – one on being a parent coach and parenting tips, and the other related to parenting sensitive, intuitive kids. I welcome blog articles if it will help get your word out. I also write blog articles on similar topics if anyone is interested in networking this way.

This is a fascinating discussion of having patience and staying focused on the goal. SO TRUE! When I started the Academy for Coaching Parents, I thought I did it all right – business coach, marketing coach, focus groups of moms – because I was unclear as to focus points. In the end, I followed my [...]

I have found out that patience has to be one of the main virtues for building a business. It seems as if every corner you turn, there is someone that puts that big STOP sign up. I have found that I just need to take a deep breath and just turn around another corner. It [...]

Karen, I’ve met and know there are rude and stupid people in this world, but this tops anything I’ve encountered. He will fail simply for these same reasons. That would be a hoot, just showing up to say ” hi.” I remind my hubby a lot…when he looks around and comments on different businesses that [...]
